MATCHING UNIT AND RECEIVER APPARATUS USING THE SAME

A matching unit matches an antenna to a receiver part that receives a signal of a first frequency band and a signal of a second frequency band lower than the first frequency band. The matching unit comprises a first terminal connected to the antenna; a first inductor connected between the first terminal and a first node; a second inductor connected between the first node and the ground; a first capacitor connected between the first node and a second node; a second terminal connected to the second node and also connected to the receiver part; and a third inductor connected between the second node and the ground. The second inductor exhibits a capacitive impedance for the first frequency band, and exhibits an inductive impedance for the second frequency band. The matching unit can supply the second frequency band inputted to the antenna to the receiver with a reduced loss. Additionally, signals of the second frequency band that is lower and has a longer wavelength can be received by use of an antenna that is short in length.
