<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a smear correction apparatus which can be manufactured at a cost lower than that of a conventional apparatus and perform smear correction in a short time. <P>SOLUTION: A smear correction apparatus 20 comprises an AD converter 21 for converting an analog signal outputted from a CCD 30 into a digital signal, a first line memory 22 for storing a vertical OB line signal which is inputted just before an image signal of a current field, a second line memory 23 for storing a vertical OB line signal of a field preceding to the current field, an arithmetic circuit 24 for predicting and correcting a smear component contained in the image signal of the current field, and a DA converter 25 for converting a digital image signal outputted from the arithmetic circuit 24 into an analog image signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
