<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a burden in project narrowing work of a salesperson proposing renewal to a client and a burden in determination of permitted/prohibited combination of apparatuses to be renewed for improving efficiency of renewal proposing work. <P>SOLUTION: This renewal proposal support system communicating with a sales terminal device is provided with a configuration information storage means storing information about components of a product possessed by the client, a component information storage means storing information about currently handled components and components handled in the past, a configuration rule storage means storing information about permitted/prohibited combination of components stored by the component information storage means, and a control means performing processing about a change of a component of the product possessed by the client. The control means refers to the configuration information storage means to display components possessed by the client on the sales terminal device, and in receipt of a change instruction of a component from the sales terminal device, notifies an operator of the sales terminal device about components prohibited to be combined with the components related to the change. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
