<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the sticking of alumina in molten steel onto a working surface in a long time casting of the molten steel and also, to improve the erosion, in a continuous casting nozzle disposing a refractory comprising a dolomite clinker on the surface in contact with the molten steel. <P>SOLUTION: The refractory obtained by blending 90-99.7 mass% the dolomite clinker or the dolomite clinker and magnesia clinker and 0.3-1.0 mass% pitch powder so as to become 0.33-3.0 mass ratio W!/W2 of the content W1 of CaO component and the content W2 of MgO component, kneading by adding a binder, forming and heat-treating, is disposed at least at a portion in contact with the molten steel. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
