<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment method for an exhaust gas capable of efficiently and simultaneously performing denitration for reducing/removing nitrogen oxides in the exhaust gas using a reducing agent and deodorization for decomposing/removing an odor component in the exhaust gas in the presence of a catalyst at a low temperature area, i.e., a temperature range of 150°C to lower than 200°C. <P>SOLUTION: In the treatment method for the exhaust gas, the catalyst containing (A) a Ti-Si composite oxide and/or a Ti-Zr composite oxide and (B) an oxide of manganese; or the catalyst containing, in addition to the above components (A) and (B), (C) an oxide of at least one kind of element selected from copper, chromium, iron, vanadium, tungsten, nickel and molybdenum is used. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
