PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid electrolytic capacitor excellent in moisture-resistant characteristics while achieving thinning. SOLUTION: The solid electrolytic capacitor comprises an anodic member, a capacitor element composed of a dielectric member and a cathodic member, a lead frame on the anodic side and a lead frame on the cathodic side each connected to the anodic member and cathodic member of the capacitor element, and a housing for covering the capacitor element. In the capacitor, the lead frames on the anodic side/cathodic side have portions exposed from the housing on the lower surface of the solid electrolytic capacitor and the first and the second surfaces connected to the lower surface, and the first/the second side exposed sections of the anodic/cathodic side lead frames exposed from the housing on the first/the second sides are each separated into two places, and the resin composing the housing invades the positions between the two separated places.
