PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To apply even an endless belt with relatively high rigidity to a belt transfer device and to prevent the belt from meandering with simple constitution of a small number of components. SOLUTION: In the belt transfer device in which the endless belt for transferring a toner image from an image carrier is extended by a plurality of rollers such as a driving roller and an idler roller, a spiral belt roller 10 as at least one of the plurality of rollers has a roller surface where a plurality of spiral belts different in swirling direction are formed of spiral belts 12A and 12B in a V expansion shape.
