PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector in which force required at inserting connector housings can be made equal from the beginning to the end. SOLUTION: In a state that a first connector housing 10 is inserted into a second connector housing 20, in the connector 1 in which a locking protrusion 31 installed at a side wall 12 of the first connector housing 10 and an engaging part 40 installed at a second housing sliding face 22 of the second connector housing 20 opposed to the side wall 12 are engaged to be coupled, along the direction of inserting the first connector housing 10 into the second connector housing 20, the first connector housing 10 is extended installed along the peripheral direction of the second housing sliding face 22 from the base end part 32 installed on the side wall 12, the first connector housing 10 is bent and deformed in a state that the first connector housing 10 is inserted into the second connector housing 20, and the locking protrusion 31 is installed at the tip part of the locking arm 30 which is energized and retained at the sliding face 22 of the second housing.
