PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of an evil effect of receiving a nuisance mail or mistakenly sending secret information to an incorrect addressee in a terrestrial digital broadcast receiver having an Internet connection function. SOLUTION: An Internet message switch 106 retains proper information of a receiver 103, an address of the receiver 103, and an address for exchanging mails from/to the receiver 103. When a computer 107 sends a mail to the receiver 103, the mail reaches the Internet message switch 106, in which it is examined whether the sender address and the destination address are coincident with the addresses retained in advance.
