PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driver with information on a road ahead even if road-side facilities are not provided. SOLUTION: Information on a traveling road is acquired with various kinds of sensors mounted on a vehicle, and the road-related information thus acquired is stored together with an acquisition position, as the information acquired in its own vehicle in an information storage. Information acquired by two vehicles passing by on a road (two vehicles opposing to each other) is exchanged between them, and the information concerned is stored as the information acquired from another vehicle in the information storage. The information acquired from an opposing vehicle is transmitted in the same manner to a next opposing vehicle.
