PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting display device in which the characteristics of only the light emitting element eliminating the influence of a transistor can be measured, and also provide a method for manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: The light emitting display device is equipped with a first display element 120 having a first pixel 121 which is made to emit light by the current from a pixel circuit 125 by an active driving system including the at least one transistor formed on a substrate 110, and a second display element 126 having a second pixel 127 made to emit light by the current supplied by a passive driving system on the substrate 110.
