PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly practical washing rice spill preventing device attached to the upper side of an inner pot body of a rice cooker, a bowl or the like in washing the rice and facilitating the rice washing. SOLUTION: This washing rice spill preventing device is provided with an elastic base 1 having multiple vertical discharge holes 2 in its whole body and formed into an approximate semicircle, the elastic base is provided with attachment means 11 and 12 to an object in arbitrary parts in its back face, and the attachment means are attached to the upper part inside the object. Alternatively, this device is provided with the elastic base 1 having multiple vertical discharge holes 2 in its whole body and formed into an approximate semicircle, the elastic base is provided with through-holes in its upper part and lower part respectively, and the through-holes formed in the elastic base are installed with suction cups 8 for inserting fitting projecting elements 9 and knob pieces 10 respectively.
