<p>In a method for monitoring the false-twist texturing of a synthetic multifilament yarn, where the yarn is heated and cooled in a texturing zone with a marked twist then (after texturing) wound on a bobbin in twist-free form, by continuously obtaining product parameter(s) and using the parameter(s) for control, the product parameter is the twist of the yarn within the texturing zone. An independent claim is included for apparatus for false-twist texturing of a synthetic multifilament yarn, having at least one first provider (4), a heater (3), a cooler (6), a false twisting assembly (7), a second provider (11) and a winding device (12), where the heater, cooler and false twist assembly form a texturing zone through which the yarn (1) (having a marked twist due to the false twisting assembly) is passed. A measuring device (9) evaluates a product parameter and is connected to a control device (10) for controlling process parameter(s) on the basis of the measurement. The novel feature is that the measuring device (9) includes sensor(s) (8.1, 8.2) for evaluating the twist applied to the yarn within the texturing zone.</p> |
