An improved design of necktie has a pocket gusset sewn into the rear of the tie, with the pocket arranged inside the lining of the tie. The upper and lower edges of the access slit are fitted with reinforcing tapes looped over the edges of the slit and sewn into place. The depth of the pocket is at least 13 cm.
