The lockable unit is for a shock-absorbing front wheel fork of a bicycle. The shock-absorbing front wheel fork by means of a control element (A) controls the shock absorber in the front wheel fork tube (10) in order to adjust the shock absorbing of the front wheel fork. Consequently, the shock absorber is closed and a compression spring supports a lockable shock absorbing element between the inner tube end and the outer tube bottom.
