<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic control type fluid coupling device having electric operation without using a front side mounting type fan and a tethered harness. <P>SOLUTION: This fluid coupling device is provided with a viscosity reverse clutch, a driving pulley, and a package of a divided electromagnetic actuator. In this device, an electric part of the divided electromagnetic actuator is not physically attached to a fan driving device, but is mounted on a fixing member instead. A remaining constituent element of the actuator is integrated with the fan driving device and is constituted by a mechanical part only.
