<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suitably select a carrier by which a call charge is saved according to an opposite party's IP telephone device. <P>SOLUTION: An IP telephone device 1 is provided with a signal detector for detecting a charged notification signal to be notified from a call control device 2 after a call origination request for the arbitrary opposite party's IP telephone device is transmitted to the call control device 2.
