PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material which yields a cured product which is excellent in chemical resistance, dielectric property, heat resistance, flame retardance and mechanical characteristics and a low water absorptivity and can be used as a dielectric material, an insulating material, a heat-resistance material, a structural material, a packaging material, an adhesive material, etc. SOLUTION: The curable resin composition comprises (A) a polyfunctional vinyl aromatic copolymer and (B) sheet silicate, wherein the component (A) has a structural unit derived from a monomer comprising (a) a divinyl aromatic compound and (b) an ethyl vinyl aromatic compound and contains≥20 mol% repeating unit derived from (a) the divinyl aromatic compound, wherein the molar ratio of a structural unit of formula (a1) in the figure to the total of the structural units of formula (a1) and (a2) (wherein R<SP>1</SP>and R<SP>2</SP>are each a 6-30C aromatic hydrocarbon group) in the figure is≥0.5.
