PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic tape cartridge capable of suppressing a magnetic tape from being charged without impairing the fluidity of a synthetic resin forming a reel and hardly causing scratches and rusts on a provided discharging means and connection terminals. SOLUTION: This magnetic tape cartridge C1 is provided with a magnetic tape MT, a cartridge case 2 which stores the magnetic tape MT and has a magnetic tape pulling-out port 2C from which the magnetic tape MT is to be pulled out and equal to one or greater number of recessed sections 13 formed on the outer side, a magnetic tape discharging means 12 which is arranged in the cartridge case 2 to conduct electric discharging of the magnetic tape MT and connection terminals 14 which are electrically connected to the magnetic tape discharging means 12 and are arranged in the recessed sections 13.
