PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a humidity sensor protection shield. SOLUTION: This shield 16 for a humidity sensor probe 14 includes a hollow enclosure 18 for covering substantially the humidity sensor probe, the hollow enclosure has an peripheral wall and a front end wall 30, the peripheral wall is attached to a rear flange 20 constituted to be fixed to a humidity sensor housing 22, and the peripheral wall is provided with a plurality of flow openings 24, 26. The plurality of flow openings has: the first group of openings 24 arrayed along the peripheral wall; and the second group of openings 26 arrayed along the peripheral wall while shifted circumferential-directionally from the first group of openings.
