PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nondestructive inspection method for reliably and rapidly inspecting a metal device. SOLUTION: The inspection method for externally detecting flaws on an inner face of the metal device, has: a first step of implementing an eddy current test from an outer face of the metal device; and a second step of implementing an ultrasonic angle beam test in a region in which the first step detects an abnormality. The invention is optimal for the metal device comprising stainless steel, internally having alkali and the flaws generated on the inner face by stress corrosion cracks due to alkali.
