PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emulsion silicone pressure-sensitive adhesive composition which can be applied to one surface of a porous sheet with suppressed tendency to penetrate into the other surface to form a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer being excellent in pressure-sensitive adhesiveness and re-releasability and containing little or no surfactant and to provide a pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet which is composed of a porous sheet and a silicone pressure-sensitive adhesive layer formed on one surface of the sheet and containing little or no surfactant, does not suffer from exudation of the silicone pressure-sensitive adhesive to the opposite surface, is easily pressure-sensitively adhesive to an adherend, and exhibits excellent re-releasability. SOLUTION: The emulsion silicone pressure-sensitive adhesive composition comprises 100 pts.wt. alkenyl-containing diorganopolysiloxane, 5 to 30 pts.wt. fine reinforcing silica powder, an organohydrogenpolysiloxane, an organopolysiloxane resin comprising R<SB>3</SB>SiO<SB>0.5</SB>units (wherein R is a monovalent hydrocarbon group) and SiO<SB>2</SB>units (contained in a molar ratio of 0.6 to 1.3), a platinum catalyst, smectite clay-containing water, and an emulsifier in an amount necessary for emulsification. The re-releasable pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet is composed of a porous sheet and a layer of the silicone pressure-sensitive adhesive on one surface of the porous sheet.
