A textile machine has an air spinning jet with a fibre feed duct (8) and a fibre discharge duct (10). The fibre discharge duct has an incoming compressed air injection feed passage (17) directed against the incoming flow of fibres. When the jet housing (4) is redirected from its normal operating position to a non-operational presentation (4'), the injection passage is linked to a supply (18) of compressed air. The jet housing (4) swivels about an axis (22) and during passage through the swivel arc (26) contacts a compressed air switch (23). The switch (23) also doubles as an end-stop.
