<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for making shutdown immediately in which, in a step prior to performing the shutdown, a job affected by the shutdown processing is noticed to a user, the job which can be temporarily stopped is suspended, and generation of a subsequent job is restricted. <P>SOLUTION: When a shutdown instruction is inputted, it is determined whether there is a job under execution and whether there is a job in a standby state (S605). When there is the job under the execution, information regarding this job, when there is a standby job, the information regarding this job is displayed in a list (S612).
