<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet printing ink composition enabling high-quality printed images to be formed for a long time and having long-term storage stability, and to provide an inkjet printing method using the ink composition. <P>SOLUTION: The inkjet printing ink composition comprises a dispersion medium and charged particles containing at least a coloring material. In this ink composition, the charged particles are dispersed in the dispersion medium by the aid of a dispersion medium-soluble polymer containing in the polymer main chain terminal portion at least one kind of group selected from an acidic group, a neutralized salt thereof, a basic group and a salt that is formed by making the basic group into an ion pair.
