<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-tight resin container having a high sealability of the container while being equipped with a lid opening checking means. <P>SOLUTION: This water-tight resin container comprises a body and a lid. In the water-tight resin container, at the mouth section of the body, a peripheral groove-shape fitting recess section is formed of an internal annular wall section and an external annular wall section, and a V-shape groove section is formed on the inside of the external annular wall section. At the same time, an annular closely joined surface body which is extended from the upper end of the internal annular wall section in the inner peripheral side direction is formed. On the lid, a peripheral fitting protuberance, and an engagement protuberance on the outside of the fitting protuberance are formed. When the lid is placed on the body, the fitting protuberance and the engagement protuberance of the lid are respectively fitted and engaged with the fitting recess section and the V-shape groove section of the body.
