VPN SETTING SYSTEM, METHOD, AND PORTABLE TERMINAL PROGRAM TO BE USED FOR THE SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a VPN setting system for easily and safely organizing a VPN, and to provide its method, and a portable terminal program used for the system.

SOLUTION: The system comprises a VPN management server; a plurality of VPN routers; and a plurality of portable terminals. The VPN management server transmits E-mail which includes URL information to access to the VPN management information of the VPN to be managed to an E-mail address which is reported by the VPN router. The portable terminal acquires the VPN management information from a server on the Internet designated by the URL information and preserves the information. When a VPN name preserved in a storage means is selected by an input and output means, the management information corresponding to the selected VPN name is transmitted to the VPN management server via the VPN router. The VPN management server which receives the management information adds a management information transmission source VPN router to the VPN and transmits information required for VPN tunnel generation to the VPN router belonging to the VPN.
