<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit the heat generated in a driver circuit to be transmitted to a recording element in the case of using a print head which is integrally composed of the recording element and the driver circuit. <P>SOLUTION: LPH 14 is provided with an LED array which counters a photosensitive-object drum 12 and is arranged in a main scan direction, a printed circuit board equipped with a first protrusion 55a projecting toward the outside a front frame 81 upon installing it to the frame at a one-end side of the main scan direction and a driver IC64 which is mounted at the position on the printed circuit board corresponding to the first protrusion 55a and makes the LED array driven.
