<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a room management system that simplifies a front job and carries out man-hour saving and can protect customers' privacy by automatically confirming the intention of a customer as to whether the customer desires to take a rest or lodgment by way of a private telephone set when confirming check-in to a guest room. <P>SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus 10 includes: an entry notice means F32 for informing a private branch exchange 20 about the entry of a customer to a room when detecting the entry of the customer to the room, the private branch exchange 20 includes: an extension circuit control means F44 for calling an extension telephone set 28 of the room when receiving the room entry notice; a voice transmission control means F45 for transmitting a first voice message when detecting a reply from the telephone set 28; a particular operation detection means F46 for detecting a particular operation; and a particular operation notice means F47 for informing the information processing apparatus 10 about the particular operation, and the information processing apparatus 10 includes: a particular operation reception means F33 for receiving the particular operation; and a room information management means F34 for updating room information F36. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
