<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data providing method, a data providing system, a data providing device for providing cooking recipe data through a network and a data reproducing method for reproducing the cooking recipe data to be provided by the data providing device. <P>SOLUTION: This content providing device 1 provides cooking recipe data having data for display and voice data corresponding to each of a plurality of cooking processes and a reproduction interruption indication instruction between the respective cooking processes based on a time required for cooking. A system control part 20 of a portable telephone 2 which reproduces the cooking recipe data reproduces the data for display and the voice data corresponding to each of the cooking processes, and when the reproduction ends, interrupts the reproduction processing of the cooking recipe data according to a reproduction interruption indication instruction.
