<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation supporting system for effectively using useful information originally held by this operation supporting system, in order to call an operator's attention to safe operations, as shown by a navigation device. <P>SOLUTION: This operation supporting system is provided with a decision information acquiring means for acquiring decision information being the basis of decision for calling an operator's attention concerning operations and a decision means for deciding whether or not it is necessary to call the operator's attention based on the decision information acquired by the decision information acquiring means. This operation supporting system is also provided with an image information generation means for generating virtual image information corresponding to the type of attention calling when it is decided that it is necessary to call the operator's attention by the decision means.
