<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a CMOS (complimentary metal oxide semiconductor) driver circuit which can be manufactured in an inexpensive usual CMOS process and has low power consumption, and corresponds to signature digit numbers. <P>SOLUTION: VDD2, VDD1 and VDD0 are set at "+1", "0" and "-1", respectively. A formula VDD0<VDD1<VDD2 is established. In precharging, CK is set at "+1" and CKB is set at "-1", transistors MP4, MN4 are brought into a conduction state, transistors MP5, MN 5 are brought into a non-conduction state, and an output terminal OUT is precharged into "0". After precharging, CK is set at "-1" and CKB is set at "+1", the transistors MP4, MN4 are brought into a non-conduction state and the transistors MP5, MN5 are brought into a conduction state. Then, if an input terminal IN is "+1", a transistor MP3 is brought into a conduction state and the output terminal OUT is set at "+1". If the input terminal IN is "-1"; the transistor MP 3 is brought into a non-conduction state, the transistor MN3 is brought into a conduction state, and the output terminal OUT is set at "-1". If the input terminal IN is "0", the transistors MP3, MN3 are brought into a non-conduction state and the output terminal OUT is kept at "0". <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
