PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quenching protective circuit which allows a superconducting coil to perform a very reliable passive operation at the time of quenching while at the same time realizing independent quenching of the superconducting coil and a permanent current switch. SOLUTION: Resistive heaters connected in series and inter-active paired diodes are installed in a superconducting coil protective circuit, while diodes are installed in a permanent current switch protective circuit.
