PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a shaft member having a smaller size at low cost, and to maintain the cleanliness of a dynamic-pressure bearing device by preventing ionic solution from a resin part so as to exhibit a desired bearing performance. SOLUTION: The shaft member 2 includes a shaft portion 2a and a flange portion 2b extending outward in the radial direction from the shaft portion 2a. The shaft member 2 has a composite structure comprised of a metal material and a resin composition. The resin part 21 is formed by injection molding of the resin composition including a base resin of polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) containing 2,000 ppm or less of Na and a filler material of PAN type carbon fiber.
