PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer which can be degraded by microbes or the like in the natural environment within a relatively short time and possesses practicable elastic recovery, flexibility, heat resistance, etc. SOLUTION: The biodegradable thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer is obtained by mixing a polycaprolactone copolymer polyol (A-1) having alkyl side chains in the molecular chain, a poly(ethylene/propylene) copolymer polyol (A-2), 4,4'-diphenylmethane diisocyanate (B), and 1,3-propanediol (C) in a specified mixing ratio.
