PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multicolor pattern coating composition in which a tingeing particulate material consisting of a coloring paint is evenly dispersed without setting up the viscosity of an aqueous dispersion medium high and which does not precipitate and excels in storage stability, and which can simply paint without using chosen painting equipment and can express a beautiful multicolor feeling. SOLUTION: The multicolor pattern coating composition of this invention is composed by dispersing a coloring paint into an aqueous dispersion medium in particles, wherein the aqueous dispersion medium has the viscosity of 0.1-5.0 Pa s and the specific gravity of 0.95-1.10, and the specific gravity difference of the aqueous dispersion medium and the coloring paint is not more than 0.05.
