A storage bin (10) comprising a body (11) formed of plastics material. The body (11) is formed in two sections, an upper section (12) defining a storage chamber (13) and a lower section (14) defining a base (15) below the storage chamber (13) for resting on the ground. The storage chamber (13) comprises a side (21) and a bottom (17) sloping downwardly towards the outlet (19). The base (15) comprises a cradle section (42) configured to receive and support the sloping bottom (17) of the storage chamber (15). The base (15) an opening (15) extending between the cradle section and a recess (61) in the base, section whereby the lowermost end of the sloping bottom (17) of the storage chamber (13) extends into the recess (61) through the opening (50). The recess (61) opens onto the exterior of the base whereby the outlet (19) can be accessed through the recess (61).
