<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a development apparatus capable of stably maintaining a toner density even during attachment and detachment and transportation of toner by providing a flow channel opening and closing means to perform opening and closing of a prescribed flow channel. <P>SOLUTION: The development apparatus is equipped with a developer carrier 32, a developer container 33, a toner container 35, a toner replenishing path 37 T, a developer retreating section 34 formed with a detour 47 communicating with the developer container 33 according to the toner density, a developer separating means, a partition member 39, and the flow channel opening and closing means opening and closing the detour 47 and the toner replenishing path 37 T. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
