<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal recording body which has sufficient water resistance to the water of rain or the like or humidity on the occasion of the outdoor use and is improved in sticking of head tailings and excellent in printability. <P>SOLUTION: In the thermal recording body which has a thermal recording layer containing a colorless or light-colored basic leuco dye, a developer and a pigment as main constituents and provided on a substrate, the thermal recording layer is made to contain the pigment, a binder containing a hydroxy and/or carboxy group and a polyamide epoxy resin. The effect of the water resistance is great in the case when polyamide epichlorohydrin is used as the polyamide epoxy resin. By adjusting pH of the polyamide epoxy resin to be 6.5-10, moreover, sticking properties of the tailings are improved and general printability can be made better. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
