PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To search one or more optimally selected folders without causing trouble in specifying a folder. SOLUTION: A search input part 41 accepts a field keyword and a search sentence input by a user. According to the field keyword, a target folder decision part 42 refers to a field/folder correspondence information database 45 to select folders including the field keyword as an attribute. A search execution part 43 refers to a search index in a search index storage part 46 to search the selected folders. A search result output part 44 displays, for example, a list of search results. When a document is specified on the list, a document output part 47 sends a request to a document filing part 20 to fetch the corresponding document from a document database 50 and provide display or other output for the user.
