PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder lock of high resistance to picking operation without making a plug long-sized. SOLUTION: The cylinder lock has the plug 2 provided with an unlocking key insertion part 1 and rotatably inserted in a cylinder case 3. A cap member 5 shaped to almost coincide with the cross-sectional shape of an unlocking key 10 and provided with a through hole 4 with a depth dimension that can provide a locking margin to the inserted tip of a tool when applying rotational torque by the tool other than the unlocking key 10, is mounted to the tip of the plug 2 turnably in an idling manner relative to the plug 2 and the cylinder case 3, and the outer periphery of the plug 2 and the inner periphery of the cylinder case 3 are provided with recesses 6 which the through hole 4 faces in a rotating attitude coinciding with the unlocking key insertion part 1.
