PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding implement for fittings enabling one person to accurately and easily perform inclination correcting work of sliding fittings in a short time. SOLUTION: The sliding implement 1 for fittings comprises a body part 2, a height adjusting engaging part 3 and a projecting/receding operation mechanism 4. The body part 2 has a vertical hole 14, recesses 17, and a lateral hole 15 leading to the vertical hole 14 from the side. The height adjusting engaging part 3 comprises an abutting part 21, and an engaging projecting part 19 projecting/receding to be engaged with the recesses 17 of the body part 2 mounted to one side of the abutting part 21. The projecting/receding operation mechanism 4 comprises a screw shaft 22 mounted to one side of the abutting part 21; a bevel gear A mounted into the vertical hole 14 of the body part 2 and screwed with the screw shaft 22; a bevel gear B meshed with the bevel gear A; and an operating shaft part 24 mounted to the back side of the bevel gear B and rotatably mounted to the lateral hole 15 of the body part 2.
