PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry a recording sheet by proper sheet carrying force by a sheet end aligning member by simple constitution. SOLUTION: This device is provided with the sheet end aligning member 47 for aligning one end edge of the recording sheet by carrying the recording sheet carried in a compile tray 7 to a sheet end positioning part 41a side, and a sheet raising member 11 for supporting a lower surface of the recording sheet stored in the compile tray 7. In the case of a small number of the recording sheets stored in the compile tray 7, the recording sheet is raised to the sheet end aligning member 47 side. In the case of a large number of the recording sheets stored in the compile tray 7, the sheet raising member 11 can be elastically deformed by weight of the recording sheets.
