PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save a swimmer safely and as quickly as possible when the degree of oxygen saturation of the swimmer is indicated, as a solution of the conventional situation with difficulty in which a rescue work on the seconds basis is required when anyone is drowned in a swimming pool and precious lives are missing often and also the rescue staff tries to approach the site for saving the drowned swimmer as quick as possible with no favorable result owing to the severe meteorological conditions such as stormy seas. SOLUTION: A rescue system and a rescue method are for saving swimmers in the swimming pool equipped with a network server 1 to manage the ID codes of the swimmers and the situation of their swimming, a function to sense the position information about a GSP satellite 20, and a group of buoys 30 arranged at the specified spacing, wherein in the server 1 the ID codes of the swimmers are registered, and each swimmer is fitted with a transmitter/receiver 10 and a wear 11 admitting injection of the air.
