PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular speed change operation device capable of preventing any over-stroke of a shift lever in the select direction, and preventing the shift lever from being brought into contact with an opening part in a console. SOLUTION: The vehicular speed change operation device has a holder plate in which a shift lever is inserted in one end of a support rod while the other end is connected to a manual transmission. The holder plate is elastically supported by a vehicle body via a holder rubber and a holder bracket. A cylindrical part is protruded on an upper surface of the holder plate. An annular stopper rubber is housed over the holder plate at the position lower than the center of oscillation of the shift lever to be supported by the cylindrical part, the holder bracket has a frame part with the stopper rubber being freely fitted to regulate the oscillation of the shift lever. A projecting part which is projected in the select moving direction of the shift lever and abutted on the frame part is formed on the outer circumferential surface of the stopper rubber.
