摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging system for supplying a charging current to a battery while keeping the current supply required for electric load of a leg type walking robot by an external power supply in simple constitution and at a low cost. SOLUTION: This charging system includes: a first diode 85 conducting taking the direction from a positive pole 83a of the battery to the electric load 80 as the forward direction; a second diode 86 conducting taking the direction from a positive pole 66a of an external power supply 60 to the electric load 80 as the forward direction; a third diode 95 conducting taking the direction from the positive pole 66a of the external power supply 60 to the direction to the battery 81 as the forward direction; a connecting circuit having a negative pole 66b of the external power supply 60, and a circuit for putting a negative pole 83b of the battery 81 and a negative input terminal 84b of the electric load 80 in the conducting state; and an output power control means for making the output voltage of the external power supply 60 higher than the total of the interelectrode voltage in full-charging and the forward voltage of the third diode 95 and making the output current larger than the required current of the electric load 80.
