PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the object to be welded from which a welded article having a plurality of closed spaces each surrounded by a weld zone can be obtained by one time ring projection welding. SOLUTION: The object to be welded has a plurality of ring projections. The ring projections are formed in such a manner that heat capacity is made large from the central side to the outside in the object to be welded. The projection welding method uses the same.
