PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a convenient-to use up-and-down cabinet with a door which enables the inner box to be moved up and down by a motor, prevents the door from hindering the user when putting things in and out, and enables the user to see things in the upper part of the inner box. SOLUTION: This an up-and-down cabinet with a door has an outer box 2, an inner box 3, a raising and lowering mechanism 4, a door 5 which composes a part of the outer box 2 and covers the whole or a part of the front face of the inner box 3 when the inner box 3 is contained and raised, and a door-opening-closing mechanism which responds to the ups-and-downs of the inner box 3, keeps the door 5 closed when the inner box 3 is contained and raised, keeps its open condition by raising the lower edge 5a of the door 5 while the door 5 is kept vertical or a little slanted when the inner box 3 is lowered and exposed, and keeps its open condition while the door 5 is kept vertical or a little slanted when the inner box 3 is lowered and exposed.
