Generator comprises rotor functionally designed as squirrel cage rotor of AC synchronous machine, or iron casing, of chemical materials, with casing fitted with permanent magnets. Rotor body is of compound material, i.e. chemical material reinforced with suitable elements.Preferably, rotor is of high strength material of flued or laminated type. Generator bearing lids are also of chemical material, of such material compounds and reifnorcements. Lids contain irregular inspection apertures, preferably in unstressed port. Independent claims are included for rotor body anx axis hollow through axis and magnet rings. |
