The teeth (3) may have at least one undercut (5') in the region of the crown (20). The undercut may extend in the body (2) of the tooth, or may extend through the gearwheel as a through-hole. The undercut is constructed symmetrically with regard to the center axis (6) of the tooth gap or the center axis (21) of the tooth.</p>
